She made her debut in the 2003 Hindi film Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya, directed by Sawaan Kumar Tak, who renamed it Saloni. She then appeared in her first Telugu film, Dhana 51 (2005), and continued with Oka Oorillo, both of which found themselves in commercial chess.
