Amar Akbar Anthony is an upcoming Telugu film has been written by Vishnu Induri & L. Srinath and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi which features Nandamuri Balakrishna and it is biographical drama film based on the real life of N. T. Rama Rao.
Vidya Balan is paired opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in this flick, while the supporting star cast includes Aamani, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Nandamuri Mokshagna, Rana Daggubati and others.
The film is produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati Ranganatha and Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and Vibri Media banners.
It should be also noted that N.T.R marks the Vidya Balan debut in Telugu. she plays the female lead in the film.
The music of this film is composed by M. M. Keeravani, while the camera is cranked by Gnana Shekar V.S.
It is the first movie in the two part biographical movie series based on the life of former movie star and politician N. T. Rama Rao. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in his father's role. The film has a sequel, N.T.R: Mahanayakudu. N.T.R Mahanayakudu is the sequel of this film where it shows the political journey of N.T. Rama Rao
