First day box office collection of The Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 has taken a good opening at the Box Office. The film was expected to open in the range of 20-24 crores but Housefull 4 has collected approx 18.85 crore on day 1.
The film started on a good note in the morning shows and post that the evening and night shows stayed decent as well, though with no real upswing as families do get busy with celebrations and festivities.
With Housefull 4, Nadiadwala Grandson production is the biggest in the Housefull franchise as the collections are bigger than Housefull 3 that collected approx 15.21 crores, Housefull 2 that collected approx 14 crores and Housefull that collected approx 10 crores.
Housefull 4 has surpass the collections of 2019's biggest released Total Dhamaal (16.50 crore) to become the 9th highest opening day grosser. War still holds the first position in top 10 highest grossing opening day Bollywood movies 2019 list. War had collected 53.35 cr in its opening day at the domestic box office.
For Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 4 has opened much bigger than his last two big successes, Super 30 that collected approx 11.83 crores and Chhichhore that collected approx 7.32 crores.
For Akshay Kumar, Housefull 4 would be 4th or 5th Highest opening of his career after Mission Mangal, Gold, Kesari and at similar levels as 2.0.
