Bhuj – The Pride Of India is an Indian hindi language Action-Biographical-Drama-Patriotic-Period film. Bhuj: The Pride of India has been co-produced, written and irected by Abhishek Dudhaiya. Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, it is about IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of the Bhuj airport who and his team reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 local women.
The film features Ajay Devgn as Vijay Karnik, along with Sanjay Dutt, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Pawan Shankar and Pranitha Subhash. After announcing the film on 19 March 2019, it was confirmed that the true accident shown in it is one of India's most fascinating war-related stories.
The film was scheduled to be released on 14 August, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 29 June 2020, Disney+ Hotstar conducted virtual press conference where Ajay Devgn announced that the film will release on Disney+ Hotstar exclusively as part of Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex initiative which was a result of theatre shut down due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Ajay Devgn plays a brave IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik in his next titled Bhuj: The Pride Of India. The film is set during the time of the Indo-Pak war in 1971 where Karnik with his team, with the help of the local women reconstructed the demolished Indian Air Force airstrip at Bhuj, creating history. Karnik was lauded for his valiant efforts which saved the day for the Indians. The film will be a tribute to unparalleled bravado displayed by not only Karnik but 300 women from the villages near Bhuj who accomplished this feat.
