Rajkummar Rao , also known as Rajkumar Yadav, is an Indian actor. He has a career in Hindi cinema and has received several awards, including a National Film Award, three Filmfare Awards and an Asia Pacific Screen Award. He is quoted in Indian media as one of the most talented of his generation.

After a few short roles, he made a breakthrough in the dramatic film Kai Po Che!. He gained prominence with his rendition of Shahid Azmi in critically acclaimed drama Shahid , for which he received the National Film Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.
