Career

She studied at All Saints' School in Nainital and has a degree in performance and interior design from New York, USA. She is one of the most successful DJs in India. She is the first actress to become a DJ in India.

In 2014, as a DJ, Sharma became famous for remixing Ragini MMS 2's "Baby Doll." She also remixed famous songs like "Happy" from the movie Happy New Year and the song- title of the movie Tamanchey.

Sharma began her career playing in TV commercials. She has been the face of Pears Soap for five years. She has made ads for other brands like HSBC, Nippo Gold Batteries with Rahul Dravid, McDonald's, Park Avenue, Colgate

After making a number of commercials, she made her film debut with director N. Chandra's Style. She was then chosen by Jo Bole So Nihaal, of Rahul Rawail. She made a brief appearance in Subhash Ghai's film, Right Yaa Wrong.In 2012, she starred in Madhur Bhandarkar's film Heroine, this drama was written, directed and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar.
