Chawla made his television debut as a Charu in the Indian series Kahin To Hoga. She also appeared in the reality dance show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena in 2008, where she teamed up with Indian cricket player S. Sreesanth. Before that, she appeared in the television series Kasautii Zindagi Kay in 2004. In 2006, she starred in the television series Kaajjal, until 2007.
