Goswami launched her modeling career and then expanded her portfolio to the Hindi film industry."When I was 16, I went to the Dehradun ramp for a fashion institute, and then I went to Delhi to pursue my modeling career and sent some pictures to a MTV Model Mission competition. I began receiving more assignments and advertising, and became one of the best models in Delhi, the first to appear on the cover of Elle magazine.

She worked as a model for brands such as Pepsi, Titan Watches and debuted in Bollywood against John Abraham with Paap, which was also Pooja Bhatt's first film. She later played in Zeher alongside Emiran Hashmi and Aksar against Dino Morea. She also appeared with Upen Patel in Ahmed Khan's video for Kya Khoob Lagti Ho's remix.In 2012, she starred in Vinodh Mukhi's Diary of a Butterfly, which gave rise to negative reviews.
