Red is an Indian Telugu language action thriller film. Directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under the banner of Sri Sravanthi Movies. An official remake of the 2019 Tamil-language film Thadam written by Magizh Thirumeni, it stars Ram Pothineni in a double role alongside Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma and Amritha Aiyer. Red was scheduled to release theatrically on 9 April 2020. The release was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There were rumors that the film might premiere on an over-the-top media service (OTT), but Ram denied and confirmed the film would be released in theatres. The film is rescheduled to release in January 2021 on the occasion of Sankranthi.
The story has been written by Magizh Thirumeni who also wrote and directed the original film, and the music has been composed by Mani Sharma. Sameer Reddy handled the cinematography, while Peter Hein choreographed the action sequences. It is Ram's eighteenth film as an actor.

(10) Red Story / Plot:
The story revolves around the identical twin brothers living in the same city. One of them attacks a man and leaves him dead, following which an investigation begins. A strong evidence leads the cops to capturing one of the twins. However, just as they believe the case is closed, the cops also capture the second twin, and now have to find out which one among the two committed the murder.
