On 29 June 2020, Disney+ Hotstar conducted virtual press conference where Ajay Devgn announced that the film will release on Disney+ Hotstar exclusively as part of Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex initiative which was a result of theatre shut down due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Ajay Devgn plays a brave IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik in his next titled Bhuj: The Pride Of India. The film is set during the time of the Indo-Pak war in 1971 where Karnik with his team, with the help of the local women reconstructed the demolished Indian Air Force airstrip at Bhuj, creating history. Karnik was lauded for his valiant efforts which saved the day for the Indians.
