Aju attended Rajagiri High School, Kalamasserry and later Bhavans Adarsha Vidhyalaya, Ernakulam.
He completed his Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering and Communication from KCG College of Engineering, Chennai. He worked at HSBC in Human Resources, Chennai.
